Time to get either your snow shovel or tickets to Arizona...:-) It has been below 20 at night and up to 55/60 in the daytime here in the high desert of Oregon. Mt. Shasta is coated, as well as the mountains around us but we are still having bright sunny albeit cold days.

And I'm sure the local grocery stores are out of milk and toilet paper....I was out in it earlier, the usual stupid drivers are out...sigh....

Shut the Front Door! We're supposed to get snow in Boston, but right now it's just raining and really cold. I just brought in my rosemary and I think I'll pull in the thyme.

Oops, I spoke too soon - it's mixing in with snow!

Is that unusual? (I know nothing about the climate of Virginia?)

We're supposed to get some tomorrow... It's actually almost unheard of that we haven't had any before now. Although courtesy of global warming we now very rarely have real accumulation by Hallowe'en. When I was a child a snowy Hallowe'en was the standard...
